after 11 years, damnit. There weren’t many reasons for anyone to use my site, but it was nice (having an unusual name) to have friends and family be able to find me by typing *sacha wheeler* into the url barho hum. anyone want to help me set up a “dark net” or “un-net”?[there was an image here but it got lost and I'm looking forward, not backwards]Admittedly they only need to miss out the space and add “.com” to the end, but try telling them that.

Not a big point, but I’ve stopped using skype. It had become completely useless, delivering messages 24 hours late if at all. I’m sure they won’t notice or mind, but if you used skype to tell you when I was online, it won’t ever again.
I use AIM:sachawheeler
I also seem to have disappeared from google’s index, so I would appear to be retreating from public (internet) life but in truth am not. Most people who visit this site (dozens since the year 2000, alone!) know me already, and honestly if no one ever visited it again, I’d hardly notice.
I’m back on facebook but am not really adding much to it, or getting anything back, really. Will probably delete my account (again) at some point, but can’t currently be bothered. I do think these sites need to provide some reason for me to stay. I’ve been with flickr and last.fm for years, and recommend them daily to someone new. I’ve yet to see what facebook does for me.

I love everything that Miranda July does, including her new book, but this website is the best I’ve seen since the inline image tag was released.

My friend shardcore has an exhibition in Brighton which includes (in a restaurant, no less) my lovely face.

I’m very happy to be included in his catalogue of scientists, philosophers and intellectuals.
