skateboarding to King Crimson - Radio I
I had this odd footage, and found an odd song to match.
It’s King Crimson, Radio I.

At last the British weather turned, and I was able to go for a much needed skate around Hyde Park on my skateboard.
The music is Black Sally, by Human Instinct. This is also my 1st video podcast. ![]()

Skateboarding in Brompton Cemetary to Faith No More’s Midlife Crisis.
This song seemed appropriate.
Faith No More - Midlife Crisis Lyrics
Go on and wring my neck
Like when a rag gets wet
A little discipline
For my pet genius
My head is like lettuce
Go on dig your thumbs in
I cannot stop giving
I’m thirty-something
Sense of security
Like pockets jingling
Midlife crisis
Suck ingenuity
Down through the family tree
You’re perfect, yes, it’s true
But without me you’re only you
Your menstruating heart
It ain’t bleedin’ enough for two
It’s a midlife crisis…
What an inheritance
The salt and the kleenex
Morbid self attention
Bending my pinky back
A little discipline
A donor by habit
A little discipline
Rent an opinion
Sense of security
Holding blunt instrument
I’m a perfectionist
And perfect is a skinned knee
You’re perfect, yes, it’s true
But without me you’re only you
Your menstruating heart
It ain’t bleedin’ enough for two
It’s a midlife crisis…

A beautiful day in London, skateboarding by the Thames (map) to Vehicle by Ides of March (1970).
Hey well, I’m a friendly stranger in a black Sedan
Won’t you hop inside my car?
I got pictures, got candy, I’m a lovable man
And I can take you to the nearest starI’m your vehicle, baby
I’ll take you anywhere you wanna go
I’m your vehicle, woman
But I’m not sure that you know
That I love ya (love ya)
I need ya (need ya)
I want ya, got to have you, child
Great God in heaven, you know I love youWell, if you wants to be a movie star,
I’ll get a ticket to Hollywood
But if you want to stay just the way you are,
You know I think you really shouldI’m your vehicle, baby
I’ll take you anywhere you wanna go
I’m your vehicle, woman
But I’m not sure you know
That I love ya (love ya)
I need ya (need ya)
I want ya, got to have you, child
Great God in heaven, you know I love you
Oh, you know I doHey well, I’m a friendly stranger in a black Sedan
Won’t you hop inside my car?
I got pictures, candy, I’m a lovable man
And I can take you to the nearest starI’m your vehicle, baby
I’ll take you anywhere you wanna go
I’m your vehicle, woman
But I’m not sure that you know
That I love ya (love ya)
I need ya (need ya)
I want ya, got to have ya
Great God in heaven, you know I love you
And I’m your vehicle, babeYou know I love ya (love ya)
I need ya (need ya)
I want ya, I got to have you, child
Great God in heaven, you know I love you

Skateboarding in Brompton Cemetary (map) listening to Bauhaus, The Passion of Lovers.
Brompton Cemetary has a rich history of lovers meeting for the first time.
She had nut painted arms
That were hers to keep
And in her fear
She sought cracked pleasures
The passion of lovers is for death said she
Licked her lips
And turned to featherAnd as I watched from underneath
I came aware of all that she keep
The little foxes so safe and sound
They were not dead
They’d gone to groundThe passion of lovers is for death said she
The passion of lovers is for death
The passion of lovers is for death said she
The passion of lovers is for deathShe breaks her heart
Just a little too much
And her jokes attract the lucky bad type
As she dips and wails
And slips her banshee smile
She gets the better of the bigger to the letterThe passion of lovers is for death said she
The passion of lovers is for death
The passion of lovers is for death said she
The passion of lovers is for death
The passion of lovers is for death said she
The passion of lovers is for death
The passion of lovers is for death said she
